OMBAK RINDU the movie, a review

I initially a bit sceptical when I go out to get movie ticket of Ombak Rindu. But my wife that had read the novel version give a look of so really want to see that movie. So I buy it solely because of her. Well, it turn out that I did not make any mistake at all.

All the casts are wonderful. Aaron as Harris with his usual macho attitude but this time falls for a simple village girl who show him what it is to have a strong faith. Maya Karin as Izzah makes a lot of tear drops. Lisa Surihani as Milla is a bit over but she still rocks with solid acting. Bront Palarea as Mail the counter image of Aaron. What could happen when they met? There is Julie Ziegler who creates tense. Heck, even Zaidi Omar is convincing as Pak Dollah.
Thumbs up for Ombak Rindu! I would dare to say that Ombak Rindu is one of the best Malay films so far. In fact it could be the Malaysian version of Titanic. Great love story. Great actors. Worth my money. A lot of people cried in the cinema.

There's a few funny moments, but throughout the screening, all people mostly keep quite, rather choke with emotion. Thumbs up for Ombak Rindu. If you want to make your wife cry (me also cry a lot), go take her to see Ombak Rindu, guaranteed to make everybody cry!
This is a glimpse of Ombak Rindu the great movie. Enjoy!
4 millions in 4 days? No sweat baby.
